How do I change an Employment ID?

SimplePay automatically sets the employment ID for all manually added employees. If employee details are imported in bulk, the system will use the employment ID created by ROS.

In the event that the employee has registered with ROS and already has an employment ID, the number on the system must match the number on ROS.

If you need to make changes to an employment ID:

  1. Go to Employees > Bulk Actions > Update RPNs.
  2. Enter the correct employment ID (i.e. the one on the RPN) in the Override Employment ID field. (You might have to scroll to the right to see that column.)
  3. Click Create / Update.

Existing ID

Note that an existing Employment ID can be found in the read-only Employment ID/Reference column.
